Overview

Prof. Torsten Zuberbier and Dr. Manuel Pereira gave presentations including updates in Atopic Dermatitis and Prurigo Nodularis. The Session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Regina Treudler.

The ADCARE session at the DDG Convention in Berlin’s CityCube on April 30, 2025, included a welcome address by Prof. Zuberbier, who provided an overview of the current state of atopic dermatitis.

Dr. Manuel Pereira presented Prurigo Nodularis, focusing on recent developments and treatment options. Dr. Manuel Pereira then led an interactive workshop with a detective theme, where participants voted in real time to identify the cause and diagnosis of a patient’s sudden itch.

The session concluded with an active Q&A session at the GALDERMA Stand, allowing attendees to discuss clinical questions and practical implications. The event facilitated knowledge exchange and engagement among participants and underscored GALDERMA’s focus on advancing dermatological treatment.

Delegates had the opportunity to interact, learn and discuss these important

topics with the leading GA²LEN faculty experts on clinical experiences, difficult to treat patients, treatments according to the guidelines and to gain insight of up-to-date knowledge in treating patients with these conditions.

All attending delegates received a GA²LEN Certificate of Attendance and an info brochure regarding all up-to-date information about the GA²LEN ADCARE Network.

The attendance of the GA²LEN ADCARE Session was high with approximately 90 delegates.

The audience consisted of 80% dermatologists, 15% pediatrics and 5% of other fields represented.

All delegates present were engaged in all talks and the interactive live case study.

Many specialist questions were asked, and the room was expertly guided into the following discussions by our chair and speakers.
