Preg AD

Current

Project goals

To investigate characteristics and outcomes of pregnancy in patients with atopic dermatitis. The central goal of the ADCARE Preg‑AD feasibility study is to test whether frequent, structured follow-up after high-risk pregnancies is feasible and effective—both in terms of patient engagement and early detection and management of cardiovascular risks. If successful, it would pave the way for larger trials and aims to shape new guidelines for postpartum care in women with pregnancy-related placental complications.

Project description

Preg AD is a feasibility trial focusing on women who experienced hypertensive pregnancy disorders (like preeclampsia, pregnancy-induced hypertension, or chronic hypertension) or intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR), collectively grouped as placental dysfunctions, which affect 5–10% of pregnancies.
